North American-bred Propulsion, who is considered to be the second favorite in the Elitlopp, raced Tuesday evening (May 15) at Solvalla and showed that his form is spot on.

Wearing aluminums shoes with pads and an open bridled he was parked first-over most of the trip, but down the stretch he took off and won easily in 1:52.2f followed three lengths behind by two North Americans, Dupree and Not Afraid.

In the Elitlopp he is most likely to race without shoes and a Norwegian bridle.

Propulsion, who is owned by the Zet Stable and trained by Daniel Redén, finished second in the Elitlopp last year and was fourth in 2016.
